[Sewing] Obi-like waist belt

Well, I bought a wa-lolita set, as you might know at this time. The thing is, I didn't liked the obi-like waist belt it came with. Besides too small, it had an annoying velcro, almost the size of a headdress, that looked horrible and was ready to murder whatever fabric came near it. So, I thought, why not make a new one?
I had some material here, so I tried my best. I kinda finished it some weeks ago, but I thought it needed more interfacing, so today I opened the whole thing again and thickened the waist part. Now it looks good.
For the bow part, I got inspired by some bows I saw on the back of kimonos a while ago.
To avoid the sticky velcro, I used heart shaped buttons I took from a Bodyline skirt that was missing the waist ties. I made elastic hooks on the belt, so it's very comfortable.
And, that's it. Man, it has ages I don't sew!
I'm kinda happy to get rid of some things that were in my fabric pile, but there's still a lot of material there, oh no.

[OOTD] Back in black

Outfit I was wearing today to a classical music class.

Outfit
Headdress: Obscurite de Tristesse
Cutsew: Bodyline
Skirt: Made by me
Socks: Alice and the Pirates
Shoes: Melissa

Before class, I went to lunch at Outback! Lately it's being my favorite place to eat! I got a picanha burger with bacon, blooming onion and all the good things that exist. I drank only one litre of Coke Zero because I had to hurry, but if I had enought time... hehe.
Right after, I had a little walk inside Daiso, and found my dream: I always wished they made My Melody laundry bags, so I got very happy! I also got this brush to wash bottles; I was needing one, but I couldn't imagine I was going to get the cutest one!
The class was cool, but you know what also is cool? The notebook I'm using for it!
I was keeping this for a special occasion, and I think I have found one!

New Make-up~

I'm doing some makeup cleaning right now, and as sad as it is to throw things away, I realize it's cool to see new things coming. This resembles life - nothing is forever.

I really liked these two Flower Knows products, and I'm happy they're here! I'm trying to me more aware of my makeup comsumption and only buy what I need, but FK products are so tempting to have them all! Still have to buy some more things to replace what's expired, but I think I got more conscious about what I use and don't use in makeup.

Changing subjects, I stopped using my other social networks, so I'm here and on Tiktok for now on. I'm closing my life to balance and I'm trying to be more in the present time than internet, so updates will be here mostly - this is the place I have more friends and people I like to keep up with, so...

[Shopping] Liberdade haul~

As the Liberdade trip's post was already too long, I decided to put my shopping in this post!
It was a dream that became true: shopping for lolita clothes in a physical store. I can't even define how amazing it was to walk around with shopping bags full with lolita stuff!
So, let's see what I bought!

Scarlet Love Letter

渔老板 (Yú Lǎobǎn)
As soon as we got on the front of the second Beryl Shop, I put my eyes on this dress, looking through the shopping window, and it was love at the first sight! This is a very gorgeous dress, that needs a hella big petticoat for it, and that's what I like the most! I think it will be perfect to study cello, and also to go to concerts and museums too! This floral is so delicate and, paired with this dark red, will match my red hair perfectly.
The set came with the dress, a matching headdress, some puffy sleeves (in the photo I added them to a Body Line blouse, so you can see them in action), and a rose choker.
The quality of this piece is very good, it has full back shirring (no zipper), and has boning (I think it's the plastic one) so everything stays in place perfectly without folds in my case.

Wa Lolita maid set

熊熊饼干 (Xióngxióng bǐnggān / Bear Bear Cookies)
This one I bought at the first Beryl Shop, in Bom Retiro. I choose this piece because there's some Sakura Matsuris near my hometown, and I wanted another Wa Lolita set so I can wear on these occasions!

The cool part is: it's a set, so everything's separated. That means I can do more combinations with what I have. Worn, the skirt is a little short for my height, so I use it over another dress to gain lenght (Poupée Girl hack, iykyk). As the "obi"-like band is a little bit small, I already sewn one for it, more beautiful and comfortable. The "maid" part looks strange with the full set (seems like the set was made with all the beginner otaku loli stereotypes, even a jingle bell is attached), so I will use the apron for some Angelic Prety sweet themed dress, because I think that's too much info in one thing.

Even with those adaptations, this is a very cute set and wearing it adapted, I swear, I stayed hours at home wearing this and I didn't wanted to take it off lol. That shows it was a good purchase.

Lolita Magazines

I bought two magazines: an Otome no Sewing, to keep up with my collection, and the Angelic Pretty's Prettiest, showing the golden times of AP, when I still loved it with all my heart.

Face masks

I'm clueless, so I bought these for fun. And it was indeed much fun, I gave a good laugh looking at me at the mirror with this thing on it!

Candy Tin

The candy tasted like Fini, so it was a win-win, considering you know I bought it for the tin.
I'm using this tin to store remedies inside my bag.
I'm so happy with my purchases! I hope I can return there soon to buy more!

[Got Lolita] Vampire OP - Body Line (gothic252)

Hello~

The Universe is being amazing with me lately and I'm so thankful for all I've got!
So, there's another blessing: this Body Line Vampire OP (gothic252)!
I knew I wanted it the time I saw it for sale, so I had to buy it! Originally, the seller was listing only the dress, but in the end she found the detachable sleeves and the choker that are included in the set! Yay! I'm so lucky!
It has bat wings on the choker and on the sides of the dress. Personally, I find it a little tacky, but then I remember people used to put these bat wings everywhere on the 2000's (and I used to find it so cool), so...
I like this cut very, very much. It is so oldschool - duh, I mean, It can be either the 2004 or the 2013 version- and it can either be matched in a more Mana gothic style or in a very cute oldschool way with my Usakumya backpack and a pair of white Rocking Horse Shoes.
The thing that I like the most is that it looks completely like something a lolita in an anime would wear in the 2000's. Matched with my neon red hair, this will be it. I'm the main character!
