Today my husband surprised me with a gift!

I took so long wondering what could it be before opening the wrapping. 

It is Bona - the complete method of musical division! I would never guess that was it in a million years haha, I thought it could be maybe a manga, because of the size.

[Cello] Hidersine Rosin

My teacher indicated this rosin for my cello, and it arrived today! On a Sunday!!! I'm so lucky.

I didn't knew the rosin I bought when I got my cello was actually for violins - and I believe neither the seller did, oops-, so it's time to upgrade!

I tried it and I think it is waaay better than the other. Happy! 

[Cello] New bow

I got a new bow for my cello!

I had to take my old one to be fixed, and it will take some time, so I had to buy a new one!

It was my first time putting rosin on a new bow. It was so strange lol.

New cello items!

Today new things arrived for my cello!

First, the Essential Technique for Strings Cello Book! I was so lucky to find it in Brazil! It was so cool because I found out that there is a music bookstore in Sao Paulo!

Then, this cello rubber mute, so I can play at night at home and do not disturb the neighbors ^^

New mirror!

I was looking for a mirror like this for AGES!

Here in Brazil this kind of mirror is kinda uncommon, so I was very lucky to find it!

The ex-owner when handing it to me, looked a little bit hesitant to see it going away.

I'm going to use it for my Cello practices!

Peter is back~

Today I had good news: Peter is back!

Now he's fixed and with a new bridge! 

Bonus for the fact that the luthier gave me new pegs as a gift! He even said it was a "Christmas Gift" haha. I'm so happy!

More first times

This end of year is having so many first times regarding the cello! This time, it's the first time I take my Peter to the luthier.

I confess I already miss him!

Can't wait to see the improvements!

Items I got at the Music Store 𝄢 ♪ ♫ ♬

So, these are the items I got yesterday!

First one, the bridge, of course - I went there for it! This is a Josef Teller bridge. My cello already came with a Teller bridge, but it was not so well adjusted, so the way was to buy a new one.

Then, a necklace! I was like crazy looking for a bass clef one, and found a heart shaped treble clef and bass clef. I had to buy it haha.

And then I got some presents! A mousepad, keychains and a pair of sheet music clips!

These are so adorable! They will help me a lot. I was having to hold the sheets with clothespin haha.

I am so happy with my new items!
