Another vanity

At my old home I used to own two vanities, one for my makeup and one to display cute things inside my closet.

I was planning to use my makeup vanity for makeup and the display vanity as a display (as it was in the old home), but the display vanity looked much better in the new room because of the dark pink. So it became my makeup vanity now, since the light in that part of the room is so good.

Now the baby pink vanity is in the living room with my Pullips and some AP illustrations.

The little brand jewelry boxes are so adorable inside this ribbon tray!

And then, my makeup setup. I confess I prefer the vanity without anything on it, but in other hand, having things displayed is so much practical, especially for someone like me that wear makeup everyday.

This is how my vanity is currently like.

I still have to put all those makeup things on it, and I confess I am kinda unhappy with this idea because it's so good to see it empty.

New Closet 2

Well, in the last weeks I've been moving to a new home! And a new home means a new closet, of course!

I took the biggest room in the house, which has a bathroom too, to be my new closet!

It is smaller than my previous closet, but I think it is better, especially because the wardrobe space it already has! I can fit a lot of things inside it!

I used the wardrobe mainly to store darker clothes, tops, petticoats, shoes, bags and socks. Many of these things were in display at my old closet, which made it look messy and poluted, so now everything will look more organized!

I will still have two more pink clothing racks - the two I previously had, to store the light colored clothes, and a pink chest of drawers. This will look so good, I can't wait to see it finished!

Some changes in my closet

Last days I've been super busy doing a supermassive cleaning at my house. We are organizing even the smallest screws, separated by size and kind of use. We gave many, many things away, and also threw away a lot of things.

There wasn't a huuuge deal at my closet to be honest; I just suddenly looked to the plastic drawers I was using to store socks, and found them too ugly and unworth of being inside my closet, and had the idea of moving them instead to store my husband's tools. Of course I ended up with a lot of homeless socks, so I had to find a place for them, and it became a domino effect: they ended up inside a very cute drawer, and I had to move what was inside to another place.

There are two socks drawers, but the another one is too messy to photograph ^^'

Some of the things that were inside that drawer went to this one;

And some went to these, in my vanity.

It was so cute to make room for the headdresses only; looks like an Angelic Pretty Store.

I also changed the place where my parasols stay; instead of near the door, now they are near my mirror.

They look so cute together.

Then, I bought a new mannequin, and sold the others I had.

This one is so beautiful!

Little by little I am making my home less full of stuff ^^

 

[New Closet] New parasol holder

Finalmente a última peça que faltava no closet chegou: um suporte para parasol!

Por enquanto só tenho um parasol, mas pretendo investir em mais no futuro.

Essa era a última coisa que estava esperando para o closet ficar completo, então finalmente ele está pronto!

Lógico que vou acabar mudando coisas de lugar e adicionando decorações, mas consegui deixar o closet do jeito que imaginei.

Finally the last piece I needed for the closet arrived: a parasol holder!

For now I only have one parasol, but I intend to invest in more in the future.

That was the last thing that I was waiting for the closet to be complete, so finally it's finished!

Of course I will end up moving things around and adding decorations, but I managed to leave the closet the way I imagined.

Sobre o suporte para parasol em si, eu gostei bastante da qualidade! A loja, Libertas Rosas, prestou um atendimento impecável do início ao fim. A entrega veio mais cedo do que eu esperava, o que é maravilhoso! Sem falar que havia na loja a opção de pedir a peça inteira em branco! Achei que ficou muito delicado e bonito! Talvez eu compre mais um para colocar guarda chuvas quando eu reformar minha sala.

About the parasol support itself, I really liked the quality! The store, Libertas Rosas, provided an amazing and flawless service from beginning to end. Delivery came earlier than I expected, which is wonderful! Not to mention that there was an option in the store to order the entire piece in white! I think it is very delicate and beautiful in this color scheme! Maybe I'll buy one more to put umbrellas inside it when I reorganize my living room.

Agora que terminei o closet, o próximo passo é reformar o quarto! E vai ser rosa, obviamente.

Now that I have finished the closet, the next step is to renovate the room! And it will be pink, obviously.

[New Closet] New (old) radio

Desde que comecei a montar o closet, gosto de colocar músicas lolita enquanto estou me vestindo ou desfrutando um lanchinho da tarde aqui. Sempre usei um rádio preto do meu marido, mas como ele destoava do ambiente todo rosa, decidi procurar por um rádio rosa.

Since I started setting up the closet, I like to listen to lolita songs while I'm dressing up or enjoying an afternoon snack here. I always used a black radio from my husband, but as it didn't match with the pink room, I decided to look for a pink radio.

Foram vários meses de procura; não achei nenhum para vender na internet; ao que parece, esses radios rosas foram edições limitadas descontinuadas logo depois. Achei em lilás, mas eu queria rosa. Assim, continuei procurando, só que dessa vez em sites de segunda mão.

Achei esse rádio no Facebook Marketplace, e logo me apaixonei por ele. Fui em outra cidade buscá-lo. Quando cheguei em casa, a decepção: ele não estava tocando CD. Apesar de ter entrada USB, eu queria o rádio para ouvir meus cds lolita, já que adoro comprar os cds e tocá-los, e ler encartes. Assim, mandei ele para o conserto. Por muita sorte deu tudo certo e ele foi consertado!

There were several months of searching; I didn't find any to sell on the internet; it appears that these pink radios were limited editions discontinued shortly thereafter. I found it in lilac, but I wanted pink. So I kept looking, only this time on second-hand sites.

I found this radio on Facebook Marketplace, and I fell in love with it. I went to another city to pick it up. When I got home, the disappointment: it wasn't playing CDs. Despite having a USB port, I wanted the radio to listen to my lolita CDs, since I love to buy the CDs and touch them, and look at the CD's artwork. So I sent it for repair. Luckily everything went well and it was fixed!

Estou muito feliz com meu rádio rosa! Tanto que até colei alguns adesivos da Imai Kira que tirei das Bibles. Ele ficou muito fofo. 

Adoro customizar as coisas para ficarem mais lolita.

I am very happy with my pink radio! So much so that I even put some Imai Kira stickers that I took from the Bibles on it. It looked really cute.

I love to customize things to be more lolita.

[New Closet] New mirror

Ontem nós instalamos um novo espelho no closet.

Cada vez mais ele parece uma loja!

Yesterday we installed a new mirror in the closet.

More and more it looks like a store!

[New Closet] Pink chest of drawers

Uma das coisas que eu estava precisando muito no meu novo closet era uma cômoda, já que sou muito acumuladora e estava com muitos acessórios de cabelo sem lugar para guardar.

Eu tinha achado uma cômoda idêntica a essa no Facebook Marketplace, mas quando entrei em contato com o vendedor ela não estava mais disponível.

Acabei pesquisando online e achando o fabricante; então assim que foi possível encomendei a minha cômoda rosa.

One of the things that I really needed in my new closet was a chest of drawers, since I accumulate a lot of things and I had many hair accessories with no place to store.

I had found a chest of drawers identical to this one on the Facebook Marketplace, but when I contacted the seller it was no longer available.

I ended up researching online and finding the manufacturer; so as soon as possible i ordered my pink chest of drawers.

Esse é o modelo que escolhi. Ele tem quatro gavetas, sendo uma com divisões para guardar acessórios.

This is the model I chose. It has four drawers, one of them with divisions to store accessories.

Na parte de cima há um tampo de vidro, para facilitar a visualização dos acessórios.

At the top there is a glass, to make it easy to see the accessories.

Essa primeira gaveta possui nove divisórias; Optei por armazenar pulseiras, bangles, cuffs, anéis, pins e rosettes.

This first drawer has nine dividers; I chose to store bracelets, bangles, cuffs, rings, pins and rosettes.

Na segunda gaveta guardei bonnets, mini hats, headdresses e boinas.

In the second drawer I put bonnets, mini hats, headdresses and berets.

Na terceira gaveta pus mais acessórios; para ficar mais estético, guardei os barretes e mini bows de cores mais fortes dentro da caixa da Baby, para que ficassem mais organizados.

In the third drawer I put more accessories; to be more aesthetic, I kept the barrettes and mini bows of stronger colors inside the Baby box, so that they were more organized.

E na última gaveta coloquei minhas perucas.

And in the last drawer I put my wigs.

Os laços com tiara ficaram em outro tipo de organizador, na parte de baixo da arara de vestidos, para facilitar na hora de pegar e também porque eram muitos, tanto que acabariam ocupando uma gaveta toda para eles, então resolvi deixá-los separados dos outros acessórios de cabelo.

The headbows still in another type of organizer, at the bottom of the dress rack, to make it easier to pick up and also because there were many, so much that they would end up occupying a whole drawer for them, so I decided to leave them separated of the rest of hair accessories.

Como fomos de carro buscar a cômoda, na volta passamos em Holambra e compramos alguns Rozen Gebak, os famosos doces de rosas. Faz tempo que estava com saudades de comê-los, e graças a Deus a doceria ainda estava funcionando apenas para retirada de doces, então os trouxemos para casa para comer no closet.

As we went by car to get the chest of drawers, on the way back we went to Holambra and bought some Rozen Gebak, the famous rose sweets. I missed eating them for a long time, and thank goodness the confectionery was still working just for picking up sweets, so we brought them home to eat in the closet.

Ainda faltam alguns detalhes para terminar o closet, mas sinto que ainda vai demorar um pouco para ficar como eu gostaria.

There are still some details to finish the closet, but I feel that it will take a while to be as I would like.
