Doll things ~

Recently, I found this cute set for sale. I felt like a kid going shopping. Couldn't resist - these baloons scream Poupée Girl to me.
The thing I hate most in kids' toys is that everything is out of scale, so I couldn't use everything for my dolls. Might sell the rest or give it away.
Anyway, it was worth it. My dolls look awesome with these baloons!
Misako seems so happy! I am glad these boots I repaired look good with the outfit.
Talking about repair, I sewed some lace on the border of this Licca dress - it was too short for my Pullips. I think it got some Maxicimam vibes. I also realized I didn't had any black headwear for my dolls, so I made one with scraps of lace.
Back to the set, the only thing I'm still working on are these skates. I painted them with pink nail polish. They still need to get dry so I can see if they worked out or not.

Anyway, happy new year! I hope I can play with my dolls more often!

Repairing a pair of Lolita Pullip boots~

Hello!
This is a repair I've been looking forward for a while!
I was so devastated that my favorite Pullip shoes were a victim of time... Damn you, pleather! But I wasn't willing to let them go to thrash, so I decided to try one last thing.
And this is what they look like now after being painted. I used some scraps of lace that were around, as well as scraps of ribbon to make the tiny bows.
I'm very pleased with the result!

[Fixing Items] Repairing an Angelic Pretty Pullip bag

The repairing saga continues!
This time, the "victim" is this Angelic Pretty's Toy Parade Pullip bag. It had started to peel off, so I tried to save the print with clear nail polish. Unfortunately, when I tried, it was already too late, and, instead of gluing everything together, the nail polish did the opposite: the whole thing fell off.
I had to take all this sand off, and even washed the bag, so all the material leftovers could go away.
I painted it pink, but it looked too plain, so I decided to make some dots on it. The only white paint I found at the store near was mettalic, so now the dots look more like pearls.
For something that I was going to throw away, that's 100% better for sure.
I'm happy with the result!
There are more items to repair, luckily or unluckily. But hey, it's fun to do these things, it amuses me.

[Pullip] Star Night Theater outfit for my Pullip!

Some days ago, Laz from Gotas de Baunilha told me about an Angelic Pretty Pullip clothes set a girl was selling, in a private comm she is a part of. Laz gently put me in contact with the seller (thank you so much Laz!!!), and I bought it!
The set arrived inside this cute cupcake bag! It also came with a teacup and a saucer, a cute note and more pages of the note's page.
I had to do some repair on the blouse - the seller warned me about that - and it looks so good now! I also washed the pieces, and, for nobody's surprise, it bleeds, but nothing I couldn't handle. The set was in very good condition and it looks so adorable on my Pullip!
I'm so happy with this set! Now I want to play with my dolls again!

[Pullip] Doll Thrift Finds

Another thing I really love in my hometown is that there are very good second hands shops out there.
Today I went to two, and found some 1:6 dolls playsets.

Of course, the playsets were damaged and with parts missing, but I paid 4 dollars in total and that's just amazing~ plus I can be creative when restoring, so...
First toy is this Barbie pink boat; it came missing a small parasol (that wouldn't fit Pullips' big head anyways), and the front glass. But the front glass was blue so it would cut the Angelic Pretty vibes on it, so it's not a problem really.
Then, this Monster High playset - or a part of it (Freak Du Chic Rochelle Goyle set). It's a shame there weren't any more pieces of it there, because I could customize to make a very gothic playset, BUT, that's what we have. It looks so cute. I might put some curtains on the door or a stained glass sticker I saw on Daiso once, I haven't decided yet.

I love finding things for my dolls on thrift stores!

[Sewing] Pullip Headdress

As this doll outfit had missing pieces, and I don't own any oldschool-like headpiece, I decided to make one using scraps of materials I had here.
This new headdress looks so lovely with this coord! I'm kinda proud of myself.
And to think it was just a scrap of lace...

[Pullip] New Angelic Pretty outfit!

Today I received an Angelic Pretty doll outfit I bought from Kakao!
This is the incomplete outfit from Byul Cocotte!
This outfit is absolutely gorgeous! It arrived so fast!
I was busy today so I only could try it on my doll at night. This outfit screamed Tiffany (My Pullip Typhona) so I dressed her up. Also, dressed Misako (Pullip Favorite Ribbon) with Dreamy Dollhouse and put the two together in a tea party!
So squad goals, right?
Tiffany looks so happy with the new dress! Hope she doesn't mind sharing it with her sister!
