[Lolita 52 Challenge] My Best Deal

Today's challenge is number 32, "my best deal".

To be honest, I could talk for days about my best deals, how I got a rare dress with some difficulty and solved it, or something that was inexpensive... well, I got a lot of stories, so it is hard to choose only one. Only today I could decide one to share with you, and it was the Vivienne Westwood + Melissa Rocking Horse Shoes collab.

I already had one Rocking Horse from this collab, that I bought while it was still on sale on physical Melissa stores. I got it in black, because at that specific year, I kinda gave up sweet and was more in the gothic side. I didn't see necessity of buying the other colors because my wardrobe was so tiny that I would not have anything to match these shoes. And I hated red, so that's it.

Years passed by and I really wanted a RHS in another color so bad. That's when I discover these shoes got really rare and expensive on the second hand market, and pretty much impossible to find. Lurker that I am, I searched thousands of hashtags combinations on Instagram to see if I could find any RHS for sale. Hundreds of thousands photos later, I ended up finding one, in red! The price was not the cheapest - in fact, it was retail price, but I consider it the luck of my lifetime (especially now that you can find it ten times more expensive than retail price, IF you find it). Really, a treasure.

The shoes didn't came with the original box, so a few weeks ago I decided to customize one. I want these shoes to have a decent home inside my wardrobe, one that makes them feel loved and special, because they are!

This is one of the things I bought because it was pink and it ended up actually being a lifesaver!

It already saved my workout pants and a lolita coat!

Today mailman senpai came to deliver my new pink heart shaped platter!

I got very surprised because in the old city they do not made delivers in saturday! OMG this is so cool!

I can't wait to put french fries inside it!

Outfits of the Week #148

Another vanity

At my old home I used to own two vanities, one for my makeup and one to display cute things inside my closet.

I was planning to use my makeup vanity for makeup and the display vanity as a display (as it was in the old home), but the display vanity looked much better in the new room because of the dark pink. So it became my makeup vanity now, since the light in that part of the room is so good.

Now the baby pink vanity is in the living room with my Pullips and some AP illustrations.

The little brand jewelry boxes are so adorable inside this ribbon tray!

And then, my makeup setup. I confess I prefer the vanity without anything on it, but in other hand, having things displayed is so much practical, especially for someone like me that wear makeup everyday.
