Today, after so many stressful months, we decided to have a little bit of fun.
I was in love with an used chair I saw on Facebook Marketplace, so we decided to go get it. We took advantage it was in another city, so we would go there and visit another city, called Pedreira. Pedreira is famous for its porcelain production, and porcelain is very affordable there! Also, the city is very cute, so why not to go there?
First stop was obviously a restaurant, because it was already lunchtime; we went to a restaurant that had influences from Minas Gerais (it is strange to translate it to Minas' food, because it is like, common food for me - ?). Then, we went to do some shopping! From all the stores I saw, this one in the picture was my favorite - unlike the other stores, they had a lot of pink porcelain.
Then, next to that store there was the Pedreira's Museum of Porcelain. Of course we had to visit it! Do you want something more lifestyler than this?

After the Museum, we went to a café that is under it; It is called Caffè da Santa. I really loved the place, it is so magical! It is just next to the river, so you have an enchanting view combo: the river, the bridge, the grapevine over our heads, the decoration...

The food was really amazing!
Then, after that, we went to see some stores while we waited for our stomachs to be empty enough to fit one more meal; But that don't happened quite the way I expected because I was already very tired. So we decided to go home.

In the way home, we stopped by Holambra, a very charming city, to eat the famous Rozen Gebak - the rose sweet. We missed it so much and it is our favorite sweet from Zoet en Zout. We ate two of them. I wish I could eat more...
And then, we headed home. To be honest, I haven't felt this peaceful for a long time...
Sometimes it is good to have a time to have fun.

  1. Waiting to see the new chair (it must be cute). This city looks so nice, and besides flavour (which Idk) the dessert looks very cute. I hope you had a lot of fun!
