Repairing a pair of Lolita Pullip boots~

Hello!
This is a repair I've been looking forward for a while!
I was so devastated that my favorite Pullip shoes were a victim of time... Damn you, pleather! But I wasn't willing to let them go to thrash, so I decided to try one last thing.
And this is what they look like now after being painted. I used some scraps of lace that were around, as well as scraps of ribbon to make the tiny bows.
I'm very pleased with the result!

[Fixing Items] Repairing an Angelic Pretty Pullip bag

The repairing saga continues!
This time, the "victim" is this Angelic Pretty's Toy Parade Pullip bag. It had started to peel off, so I tried to save the print with clear nail polish. Unfortunately, when I tried, it was already too late, and, instead of gluing everything together, the nail polish did the opposite: the whole thing fell off.
I had to take all this sand off, and even washed the bag, so all the material leftovers could go away.
I painted it pink, but it looked too plain, so I decided to make some dots on it. The only white paint I found at the store near was mettalic, so now the dots look more like pearls.
For something that I was going to throw away, that's 100% better for sure.
I'm happy with the result!
There are more items to repair, luckily or unluckily. But hey, it's fun to do these things, it amuses me.

[Got Lolita] Metamorphose Temps de Fille - Swan Chandelier JSK

Hello!

This is one of the birthday gifts I gave to myself this year! Another Metamorphose dress!
This one is called Swan Chandelier Tiered JSK. It is so cute!
I love unusual colors in lolita - they're a challenge to me! This one is a kinda pale olive green with black details.
It came with a matching barrette - luckily, because I still finding this a challenge to coord haha. I was so lucky that it came with the tag, omg!
This year I got a lot of presents!
Might post the others later!

[Fixing items] Restoring an Innocent World Pullip bag

Since I got my new dollhouse - which I must talk about in a post soon - I've been very enthusiastic about dealing with my dolls. When I went to arrange their clothes, I discovered that some pleather items were damaged, so I'm trying to at least restore them to be used in the best way possible.

The first item to be restored is this Innocent World bag, that I suspect it's from Pullip Tiphona, but at this point I don't remember which item is from which set. The bag was a total trash, so my hopes of restoring it were low. But here we are, right? As we say in Brazil, the "no" we already have.

I started by brushing the whole thing with an old toothbrush, until the "sand" was gone.
This is the result:
Looks like crocodyle lol.
Well, then I repainted it. The store I went to, to buy the paint, didn't had many options of browns, so I didn't tried to make it exactly as it was. The only precaution I took was to protect the Innocent World tag inside it, because we're all brandwhores here.
And that's the final result. It kinda looks like corduroy. I liked the result. For something that was going to the trash, now it can still be used.
I still have to restore more items, so I'm very optimistic. Maybe you will hear from me again haha.

[Lifestyle] New door stops

There are some things that are inexcusable in a Princess' home, and the following items are definitely one of these:
These were things inherited from my mother in law, and well, despite they're useful, they're ugly as hell I couldn't stand them, plus they were always getting dirt and they were horrible to clean - as if you could call that cleaning!

Well, there's some time I'm thinking about replacing them, but I couldn't find the right project to sew, until I thought about those makeup cases that people sell second hand. They would be practical for cleaning - just opening a zipper an put them inside the washing machine - as well as cute, and I wouldn't have to sew haha - that's for me is the number one benefit! Unluckily, the one I tried to buy second hand was never sent and I had to buy it from abroad. At least it's new right?
As soon as they arrived I fell in love with them. Then I opened the old ones and took off the sand to plastic bags, which were put inside these cases. They look awesome and they do their job perfectly.
Now this looks like it belongs to a Princess' home!
