[New Closet] New old vanity

Nesse novo projeto, eu tentei dar prioridade ao máximo à compras de segunda mão, por serem mais baratas e também porque gosto de dar um lar acolhedor a coisas que talvez estivessem sofrendo na mão dos antigos donos.

Esse é o caso dessa penteadeira que achei no Facebook Marketplace.

A pobre penteadeira passou pela mão de uma menininha, que colou lantejoula e adesivos de caderno nela toda, além de rabiscar ela todinha e raspar a pintura inteira não sei como.

No fim descobri ao chegar no lugar que não era mdf (já que como eu digo, brasileiro tira foto de anúncio como se tivesse tirando foto de refém), mas sim uma penteadeira antiga de madeira.

Passei a tarde toda tirando lantejoula e amaldiçoando o ser que colou elas lá. Também passei a tarde toda pintando.

Ainda falta chegar os puxadores de rosa que compramos.

In this new project, I tried to give priority to second hand shopping, because it is usually cheaper and also because I like to give a cozy and loving home to things that maybe were suffering in the hands of the old owners.

This is the case with this vanity that I found on Facebook Marketplace.

The poor vanity passed by the hands of a little girl, who glued spangles and paper stickers all over it, as well as scribbling it all over and scraping the entire painting, I don't know how.

In the end I discovered when I arrived at the place that it was not MDF (since, as I say, Brazilian people takes photos of items for sale as if they were taking some hostage photos), but it was actually an old wooden vanity.

I spent the whole afternoon taking off spangles and cursing the human being that glued them there. I also spent the whole afternoon painting the vanity.

We still need to get the rose handles we bought.
