[Sewing] Library skirt

One of last year's resolutions was get rid of the fabric pile. I really do not accomplished that fully, but did a great job towards it. This year this resolution continues. Today it was with a fabric I had since 2017.
I never had a clear idea of what I wanted with it. I thought about a velveteen bodice (ended buying some corduroy for it, and I will have to get rid of it), thought about a cotton bodice, but then maybe a vest, and in this meantime four years passed flying.
Sunday I thought to myself, I will have to give a solution for this, so there's the solution: a skirt. A very basic elastic skirt, that I can make smaller if I lose weight, but fits me comfortably in my current body. I can wear it with a vest, if I want, and I can make many bodices to wear with it. I can also wear it with a blouse or a cutsew.
Sometimes the solution is easier than we think. The only problem is that those colors are colors I don't have in my wardrobe, so here we go to get more items to match it.
