[Lolita 52 Challenge] 10 Facts about my Lolita Wardrobe

Today's theme is "10 Facts about my Lolita Wardrobe".
And yeah, if you are new here, this photo is from my real closet!

1. I like separating dresses by color;
2. I probably own more than 30 pairs of shoes;
3. I am fascinated by bags, especially if they have interesting shapes! (Even though some of them can fit nothing besides air);
4. I own some rings, but I always forget to wear them;
5. I have winterwear, even though we do not have winter here;
6. I like trying as many styles as I can, so my wardrobe is not one style only;
7. That's why my collection got so big I had to use a whole room for it and ended up with a walk-in closet;
8. My favorite colors at the moment are red and blue;
9. My current obsession is buying old Bodyline dresses;
10. I hit the amount of 80 dresses, but now I have no idea of how many are there, because I stopped counting (but don't stopped buying them >.<)

And you? Tell me a little about your lolita wardrobe!

♕ Princess tips for a Princess Hair ♕

1. Wash all your hair brushes once a week. Do it with your hair elastics too!

2. If you can, change your pillow cases to satin or silk ones.

3. Sleep wearing a satin cap! It is so romantic and fairytale like, plus it really helps avoiding damages to your hair. Buy it in pink or in another color that matches your pajamas.

4. Pink hair brushes give you the feeling you are a princess in a castle everytime you brush your hair!

5. Cut your hair every two months, and if it is possible, cut the split ends often. This way your hair will get less tangled.

6. Wash you hair each two days to avoid bacteria growing up on your hair. You can also make a hair care routine and hydrate/ reconstruct your hair once a week, depending on its needs. Don't sleep with your hair wet!
7. Always wear something beautiful on your hair; if it is too much for the occasion, consider wearing cute satin scrunchies!

8. Buy pink hair appliances, such as pink hair dryer or pink curling iron!

9. If you have curly hair, consider styling it with leave in hair cream after washing it and define your curls! They will look so princess-like!

10. Last but not least, never forget to apply thermic protection to your hair before using any heat source! You hair will thank you!

Hope you liked the tips!

Back to the origins

When I was younger, I liked reading. It was in university, that I was forced to read 15-50 pages of hard understandable academic articles everyday for each class I had (in the last semesters, in some days, a certain teacher would require 200 pages in three different languages just in the day of his class), reading all the time, when I was lunching, when I was in the bus going to university, 1 a.m. when I arrived university and was going to download more and more texts for the next day, in my work between a customer and another, weekends, holidays, with no pause, that I started hating books, reading, the academic environment and hating deeply anyone who would think they were superior because they had knowledge.

This year I decided to recover from this trauma; I discovered a library near home, and even donated some books there. I also made a membership card, so I can borrow books for free. I decided starting very slow and in a very cozy way re-reading something I read in the same month I discovered lolita: Twilight.
I really hope I can go back to the reading habit soon, but recovery takes time.
In this meantime, today I am drinking a cinnamon mochaccino in my BtSSB cup, in a rainy day, remembering the (g)old times.

[Lolita 52 Challenge] Most versatile Lolita item I own

Today's challenge theme is: "Most versatile Lolita item I own".
It is hard to tell what item is the most versatile when you have a big wardrobe, which is more or less cohesive, so all the pieces more or less match well together, and you are always discovering new ways to coord them. But if I had to choose one, it would be definitely an offbrand silk blouse I own since I started in lolita - literally!

This blouse, which has an offwhite color, isn't a lolita blouse; it was something my mom thrifted a loooong time ago. When I started in lolita, I often liked to look at her clothes to see if I could "steal" something from her wardrobe, and this is my most beloved find there.

It matches almost everything, and it is the blouse I wear the most.

And you, what is your most versatile item?
