Innocent World - British Noble Emblem JSK

Eu achei esse vestido muito bonito quando o vi pela primeira vez. Pessoalmente ele é muito leve e tem um shirring bom. Acho que vou deixar ele para uso diário, com uma anágua menos potente, claro.

I found this dress very beautiful when I first saw it. Personally it is very light and has a good shirring. I think I'll leave it for daily use, with a less powerful petticoat, of course.

Angelic Pretty - Fancy Melody JSK w/ Headbow

Esse foi um achado maravilhoso, tanto que até minha SS me cumprimentou por ter pego ele em tão bom preço. Tive ainda mais sorte de achar o bow dele com outro vendedor. Esse vestido é um clássico!

That was a wonderful find, so much that even my SS greeted me for picking him up at such a good price. I was even luckier to find its bow with another seller. This dress is a classic!

Angelic Pretty - Mode Girl Cutsew and Bodyline Skirt

Essa cutsew é bem rara, tanto que nem tem listagem dela no Lolibrary. Ela é bem oldschool, e acredito que seja de 2006. Já a saia, segundo a vendedora, tem mais de dez anos e é da Bodyline, embora não tenha tags da BL, mas só tags de lavagem. Elas deram super certo e saíram a um preço maravilhoso. 

This cutsew is quite rare, so much that it doesn't even have a Lolibrary listing. It's pretty oldschool, and I think it's from 2006. The skirt, according to the seller, is over ten years old and is from Bodyline, although it has no BL tags, but only wash tags. They worked super well together and came out at a wonderful price.

Liz Lisa Cutsew

Liz Lisa normalmente é associada à Gyaru, mas tem coisas ótimas para lolita também, tipo essa cutsew. Novamente eu estou amaldiçoada com a praga do offwhite - tudo que compro achando que é branco é offwhite -, mas é legal porque combinou com minha meia rendada da Baby que também veio offwhite.

Liz Lisa is usually associated with Gyaru, but there are great things for lolita too, like this cutsew. Again I'm cursed with the offwhite plague - everything I buy thinking it's white is instead offwhite - but it's cool because it matched my BtSSB's Lacy Lace up socks that also came in offwhite.

Roriita no isshō Kamikaze Girls Notebook

Esse é um caderninho associado com o filme lolita Kamikaze Girls. Lembro de estar procurando por esse livro há muito tempo, mas li em algum lugar que esse livro na realidade não existe e foi inventado só para o filme. Daí fizeram esse caderninho como brinde de alguma coisa para quem gostava do filme. Ele é de 2004!!! Rorīta no isshō (ロリータの一生)  é algo como "A Vida da Lolita"

This is a notebook associated with the lolita movie Kamikaze Girls. I remember looking for this book for a long time, but I read somewhere that this book doesn't really exist and was invented just for the movie. Then they made this little notebook as a gift for buying something (I think) for those who liked the movie. It is from 2004 !!! Rorīta no isshō (ロリータの一生) translates to something like "The life of Lolita".

Tive muita sorte de conseguir essas meias!

Eu nunca vi essa estampa em meias otks, só nas meias calças, então super prefiro na versão otk. Quase que eu perco elas: apesar de seguir os perfis da AP, acabei não vendo que elas foram lançadas. Aí quando entrei na hashtag Holy Lantern para ver inspirações para meu outfit de Halloween, topei com o anúncio da release, de algumas semanas atrás. No fim consegui por muita sorte pegar um par que sobrou em alguma das lojas da AP, da exata cor que eu queria!!!

I've never seen this print on otk socks, but only on tights, so I prefer the otk version. 

I almost lose them: despite following AP profiles, I just didn't see that they were released. Then when I searched into the Holy Lantern hashtag to see inspirations for my Halloween outfit, I bumped into the release announcement that was posted a few weeks ago. In the end I was very lucky to get a leftover pair, the exact color I wanted !!!

Swimmer cookie ring and Angelic Pretty's Cinema Doll Frame Ring

Esses dois custaram um preço incrível, e apesar de não ter nada para combinar com o anel de cookie, ainda vou dar um jeito haha. Segundo a vendedora, ele é da Swimmer.

These two were in an incredible price, and although I have nothing to match the cookie ring, I will still find a way to wear it haha. According to the seller, it's from Swimmer.

Manutenção da anágua / Petticoat maintenance

Conforme o tempo passa, você usa a anágua, e consequentemente a lava, a tendência é que a goma que vem no tecido quando ele é novo acabe saindo, por isso que é recomendado lavar pouco sua anágua. Mas como eu sou idiota e fanática por limpeza nas minhas roupas lolita, sempre estou lavando as anáguas, numa base de a cada duas vezes que eu uso haha. Resultado disso é elas darem uma murchada. Normalmente eu usava a Goma Pox para engomar minhas anáguas de tule/filó, mas ela simplesmente não funciona na organza.

Assim, testei uma técnica nova para engomar e ficou muito bom! Só não revelo o que é ainda para testar antes e ter certeza de que funciona. Mas de antemão o que posso dizer é que minha anágua ficou tão grande e volumosa quanto veio. E só para ter uma ideia, ilustro com a foto do meu vestido mais pesado da AP, que normalmente precisa de duas a três anáguas para ficar desse tamanho, e ficou assim só com a anágua engomada.

As time goes by, you wear your petticoat, and consequently wash it, the tendency is that the gum that comes in the fabric when it is new ends up coming out, so it is recommended to wash your petticoat as little as possible. But since I'm an idiot and a cleaning fanatic on my lolita clothes, I'm always washing petticoats on a basis of every two times I wear them haha. The result is that they lose some poof. Usually I used Goma Pox (a brazilian gum) to make my tulle petticoats more poofy and hard, but it just doesn't work on organza.

So I tried a new technique and it was very good! I just do not reveal what it is yet to test before and make sure it works. But beforehand what I can say is that my petticoat got as big and poofy as it came. And just to give you an idea, I illustrate it with the picture of my heaviest AP dress, which usually needs two to three petticoats to be that size, and that's just the petticoat I tested that technique.

Tutorial: Pompom earrings

Faz tempo que eu queria brincos de pompom, mas como não achei resolvi fazer meus próprios!

Acabei gostando tanto que fiz um tutorial!

Hello!

For a long time I wanted some pompom earrings, but as I haven't found any, I decided to make my own.

I loved it so much that I made a tutorial! Hope you enjoy it!

Materiais/ Materials

• Dois pompons (esses são elásticos de cabelo) / Two pompons (those are hair scrunchies)
• Um par de brincos / a pair of earrings
• Linha, agulha e tesoura / thread, needle and scissors

Opcional:

• Alicates para não machucar os dedos / Pliers, so you don't hurt your fingers
• duas correntinhas curtas e duas argolas / two short pieces of  a small ring chain and two rings
• fita de cetim / Ribbon
• isqueiro para queimar a fita / lighter for burning the ribbon

• Retire qualquer coisa que estiver grudada no seu pompom, no caso, o elástico, com a tesoura, delicadamente. / Remove anything that is stuck to your pompom (in this case the elastic) with the scissors, gently.

• Pegue os brincos, e tire os pingentes. Se você quiser fazer o brinco bem básico, é só costurar o brinco no pompom. Se não, siga os próximos passos. / Take off the pendants from the earrings. If you want to make the earrings very basic, just sew the earring into the pompom. If not, follow the next steps.

• Faça dois laços iguais com a fita de cetim. Faça uma costura com um ponto quase que invisível no meio (na parte do "nó" para que o laço não se desfaça. Após isso, acerte o tamanho das pontas e queime-as. / Make two equal bows with the satin ribbon. Sew it with a very invisible stitch in the middle (at the "knot" part so that the bow does not get undone). After that, adjust the size of the ends and burn them.

• Costure o brinco na parte de cima do laço./ Sew the earring on top of the bow.

• Na parte de baixo do laço, enrosque uma argola por dentro do nó do laço, e coloque uma corrente. Feche a argola. / At the bottom of the bow, pass one ring inside the "knot" of the bow (make this on the back side), and attach a chain to the ring. Close the ring.

• Costure a outra ponta da corrente no pompom. / Sew the other end of the chain into the pompom.

E pronto! Seu brinco está terminado! Se quiser, pode fazer igual eu e colocar um pingentinho pendurado na corrente.
O custo total foi de R$ 13 (pompons e brincos). O resto eram sobras que eu tinha em casa.

And done! Your earrings are finished! If you want, you can do just like me and put a little pendant hanging on the chain.

The total cost was $3 (pompoms and earrings). The rest were leftovers I had at home.
