OOTD - New rain boots!

While many countries in the end of the year have snow, here in Brazil we live the opposite: here it is summer, so it is hot and rains a lot. Everyday in the afternoon, sometimes as soon as the lunchtime ends, here comes the rain.

As I am planning to wear lolita more often, a worry I had was about rain. While I have at least 30 pairs of lolita shoes, I don't want them to be wet and full of mud, so I needed shoes for this situation. The question was: I needed something that matches my whole wardrobe, the sweet and the gothic prints, so I decided to get transparent rain boots. But, people in Brazil don't have the habit of wearing rain boots, so it is difficult to find variety. My luck is that a brazilian kids brand was selling those transparent rain boots, and the last numeration they had was my number! 

I found those rain boots in a second hand site, and they weren't that cheap, but they worth every cent. Also, they have LED lights, so when you walk with more force they start to sparkle!

Well, I received my rain boots and wanted to take pics wearing it. As always, it was going to rain this afternoon, so I got ready. There were thunders, the sky was dark, but not a single drop of rain, so much I even ended falling asleep in my outfit. Just in the end of the afternoon the rain decided to come, so the photos are with bad light.

☆ Christmas 2020 ☆

This year we have got so busy with work, classes and, life (?) that we haven't decorated much. We just put some Christmas lights outside the house and a small tree in the tv room, with pink things of course!

I wasn't able to dress up in the Christmas day, so I did it in the day after. And of course wearing Holy Night Story, because it is my only Christmas print.

As I couldn't find a way to fit me, a small tree and a Hello Kitty Panettone in the same pic, I decided to hold everything! It kinda worked lol!

So these were the Christmas gifts I gave to myself this year. This year, as we married and are living together, and sharing bills and money, we decided to buy for ourselves the things we really wanted, so no surprise gifts! I think this way is better because 1- you get exactly what you want/need, and 2- everybody gets happy.

First items, a Q-Pot tote bag, a golden star clip, a pair of beige ankle socks and an Angelic Pretty parasol.

All those I got from my friend Aiko, except for the parasol I got from my friend Heidi.

Then I also got for myself some eletronics and games!

I was wanting a 3DS so bad, especially because Style Savvy, and friends recommending me good games, so I was very happy when I found it! Besides the 3DS, it came with an original pink case, a charger that you just put the DS on it (idk how it is called), and more four games, including Mario Kart. The Girls' Fashion Shoot I bought after that. And I also got a baby pink bluetooth headphone.

As I did with my DS Lite, I put some Gothic & Lolita Bible stickers on my 3DS too!

And finally, a Hello Kitty Panettone that I bought because the packaging, of course.

I hope I can do more decorations in the next Christmas!

Outfits of the Week #53

Cosmetics and self care items!

 

I have bought some cute things for my daily personal care ❤

First items are lip balms I found in the cosmetic store. You probably at this point know that I bought them just for the packaging haha. Right one is from Pierre Pardon and the left one is from Luisance. They were really cheap, and for the few times I tried them they do their job, just that. Luisance one has a metallic shine that maybe would look good over a certain pink shade and under some clear gloss, but I haven't found the perfect shade of pink lipstick yet.

I am impressed with so many cute products selling in Brazil and I hadn't idea!

Then some Giovanna Baby deodorant and mosturizing cream. I really love Giovanna Baby! Then two nail polishes from Latika, that brand I talked before from the makeup. I am really in love with their nail polishes, so I always buy a couple when I go to cosmetics store.

Next things are my favorite shampoo, from Strawberry Shortcake (it smells like strawberry of course); then some cotton swabs that I bought just because this heart shaped package (and decorated with Angelic Pretty stickers); Hello Kitty band aids, because I want to be cute even in pain; and finally a Curaprox toothbrush. I usually don't pay so much on toothbrushes, but this one is so cute...

...and match my My Melody toothbrush holder!

More and more all the things I buy should be cute!

[Sewing] Princess Crown headband

Today I finally had some time to sew! I tried to make a headband with materials I already had here, and it turned out like a princess headband. 

I think it looks very cute! Now I need to try some hairdos to match it!

Music videos with lolitas!

Just a quick post just to "save" things I saw on internet - and I always forgot where have I seen them when I will talk about them to someone (I often am like "but I saw that!!! Where was it????").

I will start using my blog to kinda save those references, and if you want to navigate to see them, they will be under the "lolita music" tag (just click).

First one is a video I found in the Puppenschloss blog. It is a chinese music video with a lolita on it. Personally it is not my kind of music, but I love the Hello Kitty themed room and the outfit she wore in the dinner with her boyfriend. She also wear AP in the video. I think the outfit is very nice, except for the lack of blouse - judge me.

The second one is a video that Lovely Lor mentioned in one of her stories. Although it isn't my kind of music, I really liked the video! The lolita in this video has a perfect outfit, and the story is also very good!

The third one is a video I have saved in my Facebook's saved folder for a long time, and as I am cleaning the folder to delete my Facebook in future, I am posting here to not lose it. It is more that kind of ostentation lolita video. Not my favorite one on the subject to be honest - I still prefer the Frillz parody from Lil Burando, but I will save this video here for reference.

Last one is a video that I saved in that Facebook folder, but never heard until today. Really really not my kind of music, but saving for reference again.

Have you heard one of those musics before? Which of them is the one you liked most? For me, the one I liked most is Breakbot's! I really like how they portrayed lolitas in the video.
