Já faz alguns meses que recebi os os 5 exemplares da coleção da Alice Deco e Deco à la mode, mas ainda não tinha conseguido fazer uma review ainda.
Esses mooks são da época compreendida entre 2008 e 2010, em um formato mais ou menos parecido com as Gothic & Lolita Bibles, mas na minha opinião elas conseguem ser um tanto inferiores às Bibles, apesar de ter um potencial criativo bem maior que as GLB's.
Assim como as Gothic & Lolita Bibles, nem tudo o que está dentro da Alice Deco é estritamente lolita, apesar de ao meu ver o estilo estar em um local de destaque. Você acha alguma coisa de otome e mori girl também, às vezes até misturado com lolita.
Os coords criativos nessa revista inspiraram a criação da comunidade "Daily à la mode", que é focada em usar peças lolitas de maneiras únicas - muitas vezes nem consideradas lolita.
It's been a few months since I received the 5 copies of the Alice Deco and Deco à la mode collection, but I still haven't managed to do a review yet.
These mooks are from the period between 2008 and 2010, in a format more or less similar to the Gothic & Lolita Bibles, but in my opinion they manage to be somewhat inferior to Bibles, despite having a much greater creative potential than them.
Alice Deco is divided into two parts: a first volume, called just "Alice Deco", released in November 2008, and four other volumes, called "Alice Deco à la mode", released in spring, summer and autumn 2009 , and the last in the spring of 2010, after which it is discontinued.
Like Gothic & Lolita Bibles, not everything that is inside Alice Deco is strictly lolita, although in my view the style is in a prominent place. You can find something of otome and mori girl too, sometimes even mixed with lolita.
The creative coords in this magazine inspired the creation of the "Daily à la mode" community, which is focused on using lolita pieces in unique ways - often not even considered lolita.
As Alice Deco/Deco a la Mode foram em sua época um "respiro" ao conteúdo lolita tradicional. Entre tantos coords perfeitamente coordenados em suas paletas de cores, que depois de um tempo acabaram se tornando maçantes, a Deco a La Mode vem dar um ar novo para quem gosta do estilo.
Pessoalmente eu não diria que a revista é estritamente lolita, assim como não podemos falar isso nem das Bibles. Tem um pouco de vários estilos lá, embora lolita tenha um enfoque considerável: propagandas lolita, modelos lolita e, claro, roupas lolita, vestidas algumas vezes de maneira pouco usual.
Alice Deco / Deco a la Mode were in their time a "breath" to traditional lolita content. Among so many perfectly coordinated coords in their color palettes, which after a while ended up becoming boring, Deco a La Mode comes to give a new air to those who like the style.
Personally, I wouldn't say that the magazine is strictly lolita, just as we can't say it about the Gothic & Lolita Bibles. There are a few different styles there, although lolita has a considerable focus: lolita advertisements, lolita models and, of course, lolita clothes, worn sometimes in an unusual way.

Sobre os coords criativos, nem tudo o que tem roupas lolita é considerado lolita, mas mesmo os que não são estritamente lolita servem de inspiração para tentar coordenações mais criativas.

[Alice Deco] À direita, a modelo usa um coordinate sweet classical com um toque de aconchego trazido pelo colete de pele falsa; à esquerda, a modelo mistura temas usando um vestido muito romântico, com parka, leggings de renda, tênis prateado e óculos vermelhos que se destacam entre os tons pastéis. Apesar de ter peças lolita, não seria considerado lolita por causa do conjunto todo, mas poderia ser usado como inspiração para dar um ar mais casual para outfits.

[Alice Deco à la Mode 1] "Meus rosas não combinam" é algo que dificilmente é uma preocupação na Alice Deco/Deco à la Mode. Pode-se notar dois tons distintos de verde na modelo à esquerda, sem falar na modelo ao lado usando dois tons de rosa, lavender, e um terceiro tom de rosa em detalhes nas meias (que aliás, não combinam com nada do outfit!). Também são misturadas estampas no coord, como no caso da modelo de Sugary Carnival, com uma camisa rosa listrada ou nas meias de listras e bolinhas da modelo usando verde.
[Alice Deco à la Mode 1] "My pinks don't match" is hardly a concern at Alice Deco / Deco à la Mode. You can see two different shades of green in the model on the left, not to mention the model on her side wearing two shades of pink, lavender, and a third shade of pink in details on the socks (which, by the way, do not match anything in the outfit!) . Prints are also mixed in the coord, as in the case of the Sugary Carnival model, with a pink striped blouse or in the model in green, wearing striped and polka dot socks.
[Alice Deco à la Mode 1] Perfeição imperfeita: à direita, um coord criativo e balanceado que consegue comportar um bow grande que não combina perfeitamente com a print, mas que mesmo assim pelo conjunto todo acaba combinando perfeitamente e sendo "a cereja do bolo". Já à esquerda, as meias em rosa chiclete fazem o coord se tornar interessante visualmente, além de serem o ponto focal do outfit.
[Alice Deco à la Mode 1] Imperfect perfection: on the right, a creative and balanced coord that manages to hold a big bow that doesn't match perfectly with the print, but because the whole set ends up matching perfectly and being "the icing on the cake ". On the left, the bubblegum pink socks make the coord become visually interesting, in addition to being the focal point of the outfit.

Além dos outfits criativos, que ao meu ver são a marca registrada da revista, há também adesivos (Alice Deco à la Mode 1 e 2), moldes (Alice Deco à la Mode 1,2,3,4), e conteúdo misto, como propaganda de brands, inspiração de decoração, street snaps, fotos de desfiles, inspirações de cabelo e maquiagem, tutoriais de customização de roupas e acessórios, entre outros.

Infelizmente, por razões que desconheço, a revista foi descontinuada no volume 4 (ou 5, se contar a Alice Deco).
Pessoalmente, ela é uma revista muito interessante (não confie só na meia dúzia de fotos que postei, a revista é mais interessante que essas fotos), e uma fonte de inspiração para fazer outfits mais elaborados e criativos. Certamente vale uma folheada sem compromisso. Não espere dela outfits incríveis, mas sim ideias para se inspirar.
Unfortunately, for reasons I don't know, the magazine was discontinued in volume 4 (or 5, if you count Alice Deco).
Personally, it is a very interesting magazine (don't just trust the half dozen photos I posted, the magazine is more interesting than these photos), and a source of inspiration for making more elaborate and creative outfits. Certainly worth a look without compromise. Don't expect amazing outfits from it, but ideas for inspiration.
