Pink DS Lite!

Já faz alguns meses que descobri que um jogo que gosto muito foi lançado para o Nintendo DS no passado. Assim que soube disso, e de que havia uma versão em rosa do aparelho, fiquei super empolgada em conseguir um.

Desde então, entrei em contato com inúmeros vendedores, mas sempre sem sucesso.

Depois de quase seis meses, finalmente consegui um em ótimo estado pelo Facebook Marketplace! E lógico que eu tinha que decorar da maneira mais lolita possível!

A few months ago I discovered that a game I like a lot was released for the Nintendo DS in the past. As soon as I heard about it, and that there was a pink version of the device, I was super excited to get one.

Since then, I have been in contact with numerous sellers, but always without success.

After almost six months, I finally got one in great condition in Facebook Marketplace! And, of course, I had to decorate in the most lolita way possible!

Sexta feira o carteiro veio me entregar um pacote. Qual não foi a minha alegria quando, além do pacote, chegou um presente que a Katie Babydoll me enviou!

Last friday the postman came to deliver a package to me. What was my joy when, in addition to that package, he also delivered a gift that Katie Babydoll sent me!

Eu fiquei super contente com o presente e super emocionada com a carta que veio junto!

Katie é minha inspiração lolita número um! É muito mágico receber um presente dela! Vai ser meu tesouro agora!!! Aww, estou tão feliz que poderia chorar de felicidade!!!

Semana passada chegaram os itens que comprei com a Danielle!

Last week the items I bought with Danielle arrived!

Todos os itens vieram super bem embalados e cuidadosamente colocados na caixa! Tudo está em condições excelentes! Só havia algumas manchinhas na saia, as quais a Dani me avisou sobre na hora da compra, mas quando chegou eu lavei a saia e saíram todas.

All the items came super well packed and carefully placed in the box! Everything is in excellent condition! There were only a few spots on the skirt, which Dani warned me about at the time of purchase, but when it arrived here I washed the skirt and all the spots went off the fabric.

O primeiro item é uma saia da Baby, chamada El Dorado. Desde que comecei em lolita vi várias meninas usando essa print e sempre achei o bordado/print bonita. Mas pessoalmente ela é incrível!!!

The first item is a Baby skirt, called El Dorado. Since I started in lolita I saw several girls wearing this print and I always thought the embroidery/print was beautiful. But personally it is amazing !!!

O próximo item é uma saia da Metamorphose, chamada Thumbelina. Esse é outro item que já vi algumas meninas usando na comunidade brasileira, e sempre tive vontade de ter. Na foto não aparece, mas o tecido é um xadrez quadriculado super fofo!

The next item is a Metamorphose skirt, called Thumbelina. This is another item that I have seen some girls using in the Brazilian community, and I always wanted to have it. The picture does not show it, but the fabric is a super cute checkered plaid!

Próximo: meias da Angelic Pretty! Eu estava querendo muito meias que lembrem mais oldschool, então fiquei super contente de comprar essas! Elas combinam muito com as minhas prints 2008-2010 da AP!

Next: Angelic Pretty socks! I was really looking for socks that look more like oldschool, so I was really happy to buy these! They go great with my 2008-2010 prints from AP!

Cinco volumes das Gothic & Lolita Bibles em inglês! Eu fiquei pulando de alegria por conseguir a coleção toda, era um dos meus sonhos conseguir essas revistas! Prometo cuidar bem delas!

E finalmente, um calendário da Angelic Pretty de 2009!

Eu fiquei meio em dúvida do que fazer com ele, já que não teria uso para o calendário em si. Lógico que usaria para enfeitar, mas toda vez que estivesse virado em um desenho, os outros estariam escondidos.

And finally, a 2009 Angelic Pretty calendar!

I was a little unsure of what to do with it, since it would have no use for the calendar itself. Of course it would be used to decorate, but every time it was turned into a drawing, the others would be hidden.

Como estou numa vibe mais de desapego, resolvi recortar as prints e fazer quadros individuais, assim todas as ilustrações poderiam ser apreciadas no closet! Comprei alguns quadros, pintei-os de rosa, e espalhei as ilustrações para enfeitar o closet. Ainda faltam duas molduras, mas eram só essas que estavam a venda no dia em que fui comprar, então acredito que logo devam ser reestocadas.

É claro que cortei as ilustrações com dor no coração, mas acho que foi o melhor uso que pude dar para elas; além do mais, escaneei o calendário antes e doei as scans para um site lolita, assim serve como registro histórico, podendo ser acessado por todos.

As I am in a more detached vibe, I decided to cut out the prints and make individual pictures, so that all the illustrations could be seen in the closet! I bought some frames, painted them in pink, and spread the illustrations to decorate the closet. I still need to buy more two frames, as those were the only ones that were on sale the day I went to buy, so I believe they should be restocked soon.

Of course, I cut the illustrations with pain in my heart, but I think it was the best use I could give them; besides, I scanned the calendar before cutting and donated the scans to a lolita site, so it serves as a historical record, and can be accessed by everyone.

[Got Lolita] Gothic & Lolita Bible, wig, doll clothes and accessories

Ontem eu recebi os itens que comprei no Pastel Cubes Sales!

Yesterday I received the items I bought at Pastel Cubes Sales!

Os itens foram: uma Gothic & Lolita Bible, uma peruca da Lockshop, um colar de sundae da Follow the White Rabbit, um colar escrito Mermaid da Glitter Bomb, um anel da Swimmer, além de uma meia calça, um bloomer e um vestido para Pullip.

The items were: a Gothic & Lolita Bible, a Lockshop wig, a Follow the White Rabbit sundae necklace, a Glitter Bomb Mermaid necklace, a Swimmer ring, as well as tights, a bloomer and a dress for Pullip.

Eu gostei bastante dos acessórios! Comprei o colar de sundae para combinar com meu Fruits Parlor, o anel da Swimmer para combinar com o Milky Planet, e o colar Mermaid para as prints de sereia que quero comprar no futuro.

I really liked the accessories! I bought the sundae necklace to match my Fruits Parlor, the Swimmer ring to match Milky Planet, and the Mermaid necklace for the mermaid prints that I want to buy in the future.

Fiquei super empolgada com as roupas que comprei para Pullip! Faz tempo que quero pegar um tempo para brincar com elas, então é muito legal ter roupas lolita novas para vesti-las! Fiquei especialmente contente com o bloomer branco, já que a Misako veio sem bloomer e acaba ficando com a bunda de fora quando usa meias ao invés de tights nos outfits de cores claras hahaha.

I am super excited about the clothes I bought for Pullip! I have wanted to take some time to play with them for a long time, so it's really cool to have new lolita clothes to dress them! I was especially happy with the white bloomer, since Misako came without bloomers and ends up getting her butt out when she wears socks instead of tights in light colored outfits hahaha.

Outfits of the Week #31

[New Closet] New (old) radio

Desde que comecei a montar o closet, gosto de colocar músicas lolita enquanto estou me vestindo ou desfrutando um lanchinho da tarde aqui. Sempre usei um rádio preto do meu marido, mas como ele destoava do ambiente todo rosa, decidi procurar por um rádio rosa.

Since I started setting up the closet, I like to listen to lolita songs while I'm dressing up or enjoying an afternoon snack here. I always used a black radio from my husband, but as it didn't match with the pink room, I decided to look for a pink radio.

Foram vários meses de procura; não achei nenhum para vender na internet; ao que parece, esses radios rosas foram edições limitadas descontinuadas logo depois. Achei em lilás, mas eu queria rosa. Assim, continuei procurando, só que dessa vez em sites de segunda mão.

Achei esse rádio no Facebook Marketplace, e logo me apaixonei por ele. Fui em outra cidade buscá-lo. Quando cheguei em casa, a decepção: ele não estava tocando CD. Apesar de ter entrada USB, eu queria o rádio para ouvir meus cds lolita, já que adoro comprar os cds e tocá-los, e ler encartes. Assim, mandei ele para o conserto. Por muita sorte deu tudo certo e ele foi consertado!

There were several months of searching; I didn't find any to sell on the internet; it appears that these pink radios were limited editions discontinued shortly thereafter. I found it in lilac, but I wanted pink. So I kept looking, only this time on second-hand sites.

I found this radio on Facebook Marketplace, and I fell in love with it. I went to another city to pick it up. When I got home, the disappointment: it wasn't playing CDs. Despite having a USB port, I wanted the radio to listen to my lolita CDs, since I love to buy the CDs and touch them, and look at the CD's artwork. So I sent it for repair. Luckily everything went well and it was fixed!

Estou muito feliz com meu rádio rosa! Tanto que até colei alguns adesivos da Imai Kira que tirei das Bibles. Ele ficou muito fofo. 

Adoro customizar as coisas para ficarem mais lolita.

I am very happy with my pink radio! So much so that I even put some Imai Kira stickers that I took from the Bibles on it. It looked really cute.
