Anteontem meu quase set do Honey Cake chegou (quase set, porque pedi a bolsa no segundo round de MTO). Gostaria de falar um pouco sobre isso!

É interessante lembrar que há um ano atrás havia sido lançada uma petição para a AP relançar o Honey Cake, mas em outro corte. Petição essa que foi entregue à staff da AP em um evento. Se a petição foi decisiva para a rerelease ou isso já estava nos planos da AP, dificilmente saberemos. O fato é que essa release foi meio polêmica, desde o anúncio, até o tecido, e gerou discussões entre lolitas.
As principais críticas dessa release do Honey Cake foram o corte, full back shirring, e o tecido.
A crítica do shirring deixar o vestido enorme pode ser na maioria das vezes resolvida simplesmente apertando o elástico: há um buraco no forro para facilitar a troca de elástico, portanto é só diminuir o tamanho do elástico que as costas ficam mais "apertadas". Além do que, num corte sem zíper, tem de haver espaço suficiente para passar seus ombros e busto por dentro do vestido.
A segunda crítica foi a da troca do tecido para um poliéster. O tecido da release original era de algodão. Enquanto há realmente diferenças entre os dois tecidos - e eu ficando surpresa com o toque, não é um tecido ruim não, e as cores parecem mais vivas do que o algodão. Se o que falaram for verdade, que desbota menos e que amassa menos, já vou ficar muito contente. Como dizem, se a vida te dá limões, faça uma limonada, e se a AP relança um dream dress, não importa o tecido, vamos fazer o melhor que pudermos com isso.

The second criticism was that of changing the fabric to a polyester. The fabric of the original release was cotton. While there are really differences between the two fabrics - and I'm surprised by the touch-, it's not a bad fabric at all, and the colors look more vivid than cotton. If what they said is true, which this one fades less and which kneads less, I will be very happy. As they say, if life gives you lemons, make a lemonade, and if the AP rereleases a dream dress, no matter what the fabric, we'll do the best we can with it.

O set veio com bow, vestido, anel e colar. Como eu já disse, como pedi a bolsa em uma MTO diferente, ainda vai demorar um tempo para chegar.
