At least here in Brazil, when we are going to put something hot on the table to serve the food, we use some kinds of mats or bases, to not destroy the table with the heat. I don't know how it is called in english, sorry. (Edit: it is called a trivet, thank you @ouji0769 !)
I found this cute heart shaped base when I went to a store to buy handles, and thought it would look amazing in pink.
Well, it does.
I wanna paint two more so I will have a lot of them!
