I broke my "I'm not wearing lolita in this hot weather" resolution, but for a good cause: my friend invited us to spend the New Year's Eve with her and her family - A-N-D, because, I confess I don't have any decent normal clothes left in my wardrobe, only lolita clothes (what would be a total goal for the beginner lolita me, and sometimes very impractical for the actual me). If you live in Brazil, you probably know this heat wave is insane, so I tried to make the comfiest and most fresh outfit I could.

We ate a lot and it was lots of fun!

I can say it was the best New Year's eve of my life ☆

Sink Girl trend ☆

There's a new trend on Tiktok, called "sink girl". Long story short, there was a girl there who stores her makeup inside a sink, and the state of her makeup is absolutely insalubrious, so she is cleaning everything. This trend inspired me to clean my makeup - not that was dirty, but my vanity was messy and dusty, so it was good to clean up a little!

After cleaning, I decided to take some pics just for remembrance.

Oh, the plants!

You know that saying that says "the grass is greener on the other side of the fence"? Kinda this, but change it a little bit: I was realizing someone's plants were awful and dying, so I remembered to take care of my own plants haha.

I moved them to this thing on the wall, and bought two more: mint and basil. I wanted to buy more, but what I wanted was sold out unfortunately.

I hope I can take care of them properly haha.

Sewing and crafts of 2023!

2023 for me wasn't a great year, and that's kinda mirrored sewing wise. I didn't sew as much as I wanted, and couldn't finish the fabric pile... I'm so sad about it! But, I could use some fabric I was keeping for many years and turn it into beautiful pieces. I can't say I spent much in fabric this year; the only fabric I bought was for the bed center thing and for the piano bags - but in the piano bags I could use some materials I wanted to ged rid of, so it was also a victory.
