Customizing a Bodyline bolero

Last year I got a Bodyline bolero for very cheap on a second hand site in Brazil, but since I got it, its quality bothered me. Today I finally decided to make it look better - just because it was cheap it doesn't mean it has to look cheap, right?

First step was to remove the cheap looking bows on the side of the sleeve. It was too much information going on.

Then I changed the white grosgrain ribbon on the neck to a thin black satin ribbon. I did the same with the satin ribbon bows.

I think that it looks really better with those small alterations!

I will put it in my daily lolita closet.
