[Dorama] Lolitas in Majisuka Gakuen

Today's post is about lolitas in the dorama Majisuka Gakuen.

Majisuka Gakuen is kinda different school. While you usually would imagine japanese students as organized and disciplined, this girl school is the opposite: all the students are delinquents, and they basically go to school to fight. There is a hierarchy of the strongest girls in school, being the Rappappa group the "bosses" of the place.

In the middle of the school year, two new students are transferred to the school. The noisy Daruma and the quiet Atsuko already arrive at school causing some comotion, even if it is not the intention of Atsuko. After saving Daruma once, Atsuko calls the attention of other girls in school, who desperately want to fight the new opponent because her awesome strenght. Among those girls there are a group of lolitas named Sanshoo Sisters.

The Sanshoo sisters Manamana, Myao and Love-tan will have their first appearance in Majisuka Gakuen in the 3rd ep., but you only see them quickly in the end of the episode (like a call for the next one). They will make their real appearance in the 4th episode, and then only will show again in background of the last episode, but they don't have any line there.

The lolitas are from the 1st grade in the school. Shanshoo means mountain pepper, and it can be a reference of a japanese saying that a mountain pepper can look small, but it is so hot (the appearances can be deceiving). In a fight, the three battle together.

About their outfits, it looks like their dresses are a lolified version of the school dresses plus lolita accessories - I could see Alice and The Pirates and Baby, the Stars Shine Bright among them. They seem to have their headquarter in the biology lab, where they make tea and have a small collection of Gothic & Lolita Bibles.

I discovered there is a season 2 of this dorama, so I will try to watch it to see if they are wearing new outfits!
