[Got Lolita] Gifts from Devil Inspired!
This week I received some presents from Devil Inspired!
Let's take a look in what I received!
Brand: Three Puppets
Strawberry Bear Print Tiered Ruffle Lolita JSK in Pink
This dress is more amazing in person than in the photos (even though the photos are gorgeous). It has a very nice quality and the print is adorable!
Brand: Three Puppets
Summer Strawberry Big Bow Hairclip
The big bow energy!
I really like the fact it is holded by an alligator clip, so it can look good in one sided ponytail, in a pretty hairdo on the back of your head, and even as a big center headbow if you make a hairdo that can be enough tight to put the clip on it.
Brand: Little Bear Kindergarten
Handmade Heart Shaped Sweet Lolita Mini Hat
This mini hat is the cutest thing ever! I really wish to own more mini hats!
This one looks like a heart shaped bonbon box, and looks amazing with all my chocolate prints AND Honey Cake!
Brand: Little Fairy Tale
Alice Tea Cup Shaped Lolita Clip
This is a very cute two way clip, so it can be worn as a hair clip or like a pin. It will look wonderful with my Alice inspired outfits! The cherry of the cake!
Brand: Roji Roji
Cream Cycle Bowknot Pattern Lolita Overknee Stockings
I got really amazed by the quality of these socks. They have a very nice material and stretch very nicely! This print was a good way to insert blue on my outfits, without the socks looking too blue.
Brand: Roji Roji
Cherry Pie Sweet Lolita Overknee Stockings
These are also from Roji Roji, so the same quality I said for the pair above. This looks so beautiful and detailed! My favorite parts are the pink polkadots and the bows on the back.
Brand: Stellar Winds of the Universe
Bear Cookie Lolita Cute Lace Socks
These socks match so nicely my Little Bears Cafe print, and they look so good for hot weather. I can't wait to wear them! Maybe with bear ears too, or mixed in a chocolate coord with the heart shaped mini hat!

[Lolita 52 Challenge] How I first found out about Lolita
Today's theme is "How I first found out about Lolita".
I was in vacations at my aunt's house in Mato Grosso (a state in Brazil), in 2008. The city was, and maybe still being in the middle of nowhere, three days and nights by bus from my state, and all you see is soy fields for three days inside the bus. It was in the middle of nowhere, just like Shimotsuma Monogatari, that I first found out about lolita fashion while browsing internet. I was bored, working in my aunt's store, and while I was on the computer, I started searching for a mini hat in Avril Lavigne's style, and ended up finding a lolita mini hat photo hosted in the - nowadays dead - Queen Victoria's Dolls brazilian lolita website.
I was so amazed by that style... It was all I loved. Since I was a child I used to draw brides and princesses in old notebooks and I wished I was a bride everyday so I could wear poofy dresses. I also would spin around my own feet when wearing dresses to make them poofy with the wind as a princess' dress. And for my delight, this fashion had a punk substyle, that covered the kind of style that I was liking in my teenage. Everything I could wish for in my life.
I remember that day I opened my flip phone and I texted my friend in extasis: "I discovered what I am! I am a lolita!!!", and since then I couldn't take this fashion out of my mind.
And you, how do you found out about lolita?
